UHS 2021 Graduation Details:

• Graduation will be in the UHS Stadium on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.
• Each graduate will be allotted four family guest passes.  This is subject to change.
• The event will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
• Seniors will be sent an email tomorrow, Tuesday, May 18 at 8:00 a.m that includes specific information regarding seat selection and the graduation ceremony.  The first steps include letting us know if the student will participate in the ceremony and selecting a preferred seating zone.
• Caps and Gowns will be distributed on Thursday, May 20, 12:00-2:00 p.m. If a student needs a cap and gown please email [email protected].  
• The deadline for selecting a preferred seating zone is Friday, May 21 at 5:00 p.m.  If the form is not completed by this deadline we will place students in an available seating zone.›
• On Wednesday, May 26 there will be a Google Meet to allow students to select seats.  Students that do not come to the virtual meeting to select seats will be assigned seats.
• Parents will not select seating.  Parents will be assigned seating in the family seating section.  Seating will be randomly assigned.  We will share arrival instructions prior to the event.  Please follow these instructions to ensure that graduation is efficient and enjoyable.
• Graduates and guests should not wear high heels.  Both graduates and guests will walk on the field, heels will sink into the turf.  Complete guidelines will be provided to graduates and guests prior to the ceremony.
• On Wednesday, May 26, and Wednesday, June 2 seniors will return Chromebooks, textbooks and pay fines for lost books or other items.  When these items are returned and fines paid, students will receive the four wristbands for identified family guests to attend graduation.
• All aspects of the graduation must adhere to Mendocino County health guidelines and are subject to change.  Currently, these guidelines include wearing masks at all times, even while seated, maintaining a distance of 6 feet between family guest groups, and remaining in assigned seating areas.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
