Attention Class of 2021,

The University of California system is relaxing its fall 2021 fall admissions standards due to the coronavirus pandemic. This means that the current junior class, the class of 2021, will not be harmed in admission selections to UC campuses if a standardized test (SAT or ACT) is not submitted on their 2021 fall application. The University of California system is also allowing pass or fail grades during this spring semester of 2020 for students who apply to UC campuses in the fall of 2021. This is good news considering that the current junior class may not be able to take standardized tests or receive letter grades due to Remote Learning. Please keep in mind that this change in admissions is not permanent, meaning that admissions standards past fall 2021 will still require standardized tests and letter grades for A-G subjects.
