Creative Writing

Creative writing is an English elective class that focuses on understanding and creating the imaginative writer’s voice. Students will read, write, present and discuss the genres of creative writing including poetry, the short story, the novel, dramatic plays, and screenplays. Although this is designed to be a fun elective, students must still be ready to handle a moderate workload of reading and writing.
Creative writing will not replace any required English class.
