Ceramic Studio

Instruction in hand-building and decorating techniques and basic wheel-throwing techniques is offered. Proficiency in aesthetic and technical skills is gained by
completing assigned work at increasing levels of difficulty, but each assignment allows for individual creativity.

 

A historic and cultural appreciation of pottery making is emphasized in specific assignments related to the ceramic arts of other Western and non-Western peoples.
