Medical Terminology

Course Description

The Medical Terminology course provides students with an understanding of the language of medicine through the study of the basic word structures used in
anatomical, pathological, and operative terms.
 
The course will include terms in the integumentary, musculoskeletal, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, blood, lymphatic, digestive, endocrine, special senses, urinary, and male and female reproductive systems. Obstetrics, radiology, Gnostic imaging, oncology, and pharmacology may also be covered.
