Advanced Placement Literature and Composition

Course Description

Advanced Placement English is a rigorous, college-level class that provides an intensive, in-depth study of the major genres of literature in preparation for the AP
Exam. The primary goal of the course is to develop students’ abilities as readers, writers, and critics of literature.

Placement: AP English Language teacher recommendation or entrance examination.
