Physical Science

Course Description

The purpose of the Physical Science course is the systematic study of the physical world, as related to chemistry, physics, and space science.
 
The topics studied in the course include the study of matter, energy, and waves,
forces and motion, and the universe. This course is a rigorous academic core and concentrates on the foundational components for and acts as an introduction to the advanced Chemistry and Physics classes.
 
This course serves as a bridge class between Biology and Chemistry or Physics. Ideal for students not quite ready for the math and skill requirements needed to access Chemistry or Physics. 

Prerequisite: Biology, Ag Bio, Sustainable Agriculture or Life Science.
