Introduction to World History
Course Description
This non college-prep course meets the World History graduation requirement and is for sophomores who have reading and writing skills needs.
Students study major turning points that shaped the modern world, from the late sixteenth century through the present, including the cause and course of the two world wars. The course follows the same timeline and concepts as World History, but with modified pacing and with learning activities designed to help students with analytical and communication skills.
Placement: By Reading Specialist and teacher recommendation.
