Introduction to U.S. History

Course Description

This non college-prep course meets the US History graduation requirement and is for juniors who have reading and writing skills needs.
 
Topics studied include:
  • American Wars (Revolutionary and Civil War)
  • World Wars I and II
  • Korean and Vietnam Wars
  • Socioeconomic trends of the past and their effects on American society today, including causes and consequences of the inflation of the 20’s
  • The Great Depression of the 30’s
  • The social changes that have taken place in the 20th century.
